Peaceful City Sangha is a community and space of practice, open to people of all backgrounds, traditions and beliefs, which enjoys, nurtures and offers the practice of mindfulness in the Buddhist tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. We aspire to support the practice of mindfulness in daily life in order to transform suffering in ourselves, our relationships, and our communities into understanding, compassion, joy and peace.

Peaceful City is committed to practicing to understand and embrace deeply the diversity within ourselves, our community, our society, and the world.

Today I sat for ten minutes before doing anything else. The cat watched. The kettle waited. My mind argued with itself, then quieted.
